The Sahara and Sahel Observatory (OSS) is an international organization with an African focus, founded in 1992 and based in Tunis since 2000. OSS members include 26 African countries, 7 non-African countries, and 13 international organizations. OSS specializes in environmental monitoring and natural resource management and assists its member countries in implementing multilateral environmental agreements, particularly the UN conventions on desertification, biodiversity, and climate change.
IPROconsult Morocco supported the OSS in the implementation of its 2021-2030 strategy through the participatory elaboration and development of several tools: an impact matrix for the implementation of the 2021-2030 strategy, a detailed action plan of a fundraising strategy for the implementation of the OSS statutory activities and for the implementation of its 2021-2030 strategy, an impact-oriented monitoring, a capacity development strategy, and the elaboration of an action plan to strengthen cooperation with its 26 African member countries.
